palette knife study 8x10 oil

I'm having so much fun experimenting with the knife! I found myself switching between right and left hands. (I use the paint brush in my left only) I live in USA, but this is from a photo I took in NZ. What a ridiculously beautiful country!

I also enjoyed Millford Sound Trek, but as an American, it was hard for me to adjust to having 30 people in the group. We typically hike for solitude and to get away from conveniences like stoves, bathrooms, and roofs over our heads ; ).
