Original oil painting by Jeri McDonald. This is a series of studies I am doing from my photograph taken in Del Norte county near Crescent City. Panther Flat is the name of this beautiful place I often visited. My intentions here were to paint this is in 2 different color palettes and lighting options. This one is before a storm. The colors are cool and very high chroma.
