Beautifully done Robin. Great texture from your brushstrokes that wouldn't have been there if you had "fiddled". I started with acrylics too, where it was so easy to rework areas. As with you, I'm trying to just lay the stroke down but the temptation is always there to fix a stroke. We just have to be brave and let our creativity take over without 2nd guessing our strokes :))

Well you did so well. Love the majesty you achieved with the mountains. It has a feeling of the sun just penitrating the mountain mist. I totally agree The hardest thing is to lay that paint on then LEAVE it alone. Lovely subtle warm colours

Those are encouraging words Betsy - thank you - I am one of the world's worst fiddlers with paint - especially having used acrylics for so long - Richard's video certainly helps.

Very nice! I am envious of your brushwork on the grass and trees. Something to aspire to!

Woke up this cold wintry NZ morning to all your encouraging comments - thank you Sillvana, Mario, Christina, Linda, Laura, Thomas, Colleen, Jessica, Dorian and Jon. Although I didn't fully achieve what this video was teaching, for me it was a great lesson on using WS oils, mixing colours for aerial perspective, keeping your eye on shape variety, and putting the paint there and leaving It! I do recommend it.
