Thanks again, Peter. Wow, that's a lot of  money for a bird.

I hope you can make photograph's of your friends birds to paint from, then you are lucky.

I did make a lot of photographs when I was in America. In Florida I saw beautiful parrots, but most of the time I have to go to the Zoo to photograph these birds.
