This is the first pear in the 10 minute challenge. I think it is my best pear. I like the highlight on the table. I was done in 9 minutes!

I only did this for the workshop. I normally sign paintings, but this is only a study! :)
I understand , thanks, Sharon. I feel better now when I look at my signature.
Hi Li, Thank you very much for your comment. What I did was sign the photo afterwards using Microsoft Digital Image. You can use any digital imaging software to do this, and choose whatever font you want. It is not on the painting itself.
Sharon, I like your pear and colour harmony and your handwriting is beautiful is clear . What kind of pen you use to sign on your painting?
oh, yeea, I agree, and I knew that, but didn't have time. I thought of that, but in a way, I thought if I left the white on the left side, it would seem like light bouncing off the pear, but didn't work that way.
Hi Sharon, I think this is your best pear too and well done in 9 mins. One tip, if I may, you might try blending/blurring or "losing" the edges here and there (between pear and background) and letting those lovely lively brushstrokes break loose and intermingle a bit! I think this would add to the sense of 3-D realism and all-of-a-piece-ness.
