Thanks Dee. I guess we are in good company with iPhone fans. I'm going to try out 'Brushes' thanks for the recommendation, there is a whole new thread now on VAA about all this stuff and Barry has started a new area to catch up on the various threads about computer software, you might want to check it out.

Thanks Denise. I'm a big iPhone fan too! And I enjoy exploring digital media as well as the "real thing". I have 'Brushes' which I prefer to 'Sketchbook'. There are some good vids on YouTube of artists doing wonderful painting with this technology. I also have 'Painter' on my computer but I like the simple portable thing!

Thanks Dee, that is an app called ArtRage. I've had it on my computer for a couple of years now and also use it with my tablet, love the juicy thick paint strokes that it simulates. The app on the my iPhone is very limited in comparison but still really good to have when I'm out doing plein air and I try using it for quick color notans when I'm out for the doggy walks also. I can't get over how good this iPhone is and what I can do with it.

Denise, these look good. Which app have you got? Brushes...? Sketchbook...?
