Roses are blooming in my garden now, so I picked one & tried to paint it and get the values accurate (using what we've learned so far & a helpful idea suggested to me by Marcia Hodges - thank you!!).

Great mix of cool and warm tones.  (I'm looking at temperatures right now, and this is a winner.)  I really like all the subtle little things going on in this.
