Phalaenopsis Orchid by Sharon Repple 4" x 12" x 1 1/2" acrylic I finished this orchid this evening. I paint on Wednesday afternoon with a great group of ladies in my neighborhood. Such fun to paint with other artists.

Richard, Jane, Ruby, Andreas and Jessica, you comments are greatly appreciated.  When I painted this, I almost decided not to do paint the varigated lines on the petals because I wasn't sure I wanted to do that much detail.  I am so glad I pushed myself.  I believe the lines and shadows allowed the depth to be created.

Nice work Sharon.  I am busy trying to paint one of my Phals, not an easy job for sure.
