LOL, Patrick......bush you say. When I did Autumn Gold, I had several people tell me that they could "see" all sorts of things in that painting. Trust me......all I was trying to do was paint and change colors real often. I did not paint anything. The person viewing sees things from their past experiences (sounded good when I said that- didn't it - LOL) I think. So, I saw flowers........Oh well. Ro

Peter I will try to put some separation in ,I think you are speaking of red leaves in the bush itself ,I thought I had muddied it to much .I never thought of using pen and ink .

Patrick, this looks nice. I like the lose, expressive brush strokes and the complementary colors of red and green look good. It is difficult to not lose the highlight in WC which would help the flowers separate some. Have you ever seen someone do a little pen and ink on top of the WC? Just the slightest bit to indicate where some of the outside petals on a few of the flowers might look nice. Just an idea for you to consider. Keep up the good work, and keep posting them for us to see. Ro
