This is a quick fun study of a rose painted loosely. I will post another flower tomorrow that I completed today as well. The other one is a little more detailed.

Learning Points:
1. blocking in base color
2. making it look uniform by adding pink to the leaves and a little green to the rose.
3. working with a lighter background
4. loosening up

This is my entry for Nibblefest. Nebblefest is a monthly theme/challenge contest, where each entry is put on ebay and the auction is required to start at only .99 cents. This month's them was blue which can be interpreted however by the artist. Winners get a banner to use on future contests.
