Wow......Wonderful use of color!
That is so cool Larissa! Small world. :)
Jennifer, continue our conversation. My previous teacher sad that view was taken from picture of England place, beside the Dorset and also combined with childhood memories. So..., unfortunately, no original picture. This once again confirms that all people close to each other, regardless of location and especially - artists.
It's so weird! I combined 3 or 4 different photos to come up with my painting. I had originally painted it without the sunset or the tree but thought it need something. I found an image of a tree in a field with grass. The mountains were from another photos of hills with no sunset. The sunset came from a completely different photo. Mine are tulips though. The original idea came from the tulip festival in Washington. So your painting is a copy of another artist's painting (the instructor's)? I would love to know where it is!:)
Yaaa, maybe you were there. It's very interesting that this view came from your imagination.
But I took a lesson with another instructor, and it was just sample of painting. I can ask her where this scene came from. Very, very strange. Fantastic!
Wow! That is really wild that I came up with almost the same scene in my head! With a sunset too! I never saw your painting before that! It's almost freaky. Where is this? Maybe I've been there in another life! haha:)
