Portrait sketch in monocrome
oil on linen, 14 x 8 inches
This is my first attempt to an Alla Prima stye portrait sketch. Done in about 3 hours. I was having a bit of trouble with the drawing at first, but slowed down after wiping it down. I decided not to consern my self with color to much and focus on drawing with the brush. I really enjoyed the process.
