Hi, Aurelia, Hi, Tone - thanks a bundle!!! I used to tone my canvases with colors such as a light wash of burnt sienna - now I just use cad orange!!! The big problem is the general color of the shadowed area at the bottom right I want a sort of intense glowing blue-ish cast in my new attempt (block-in done) - not sure what to use....

Love your color harmony!  Your sky is also done very good with the red you worked into it.  Nice painting.
