thank you Shoman for your nice comments.
Very nice piece of art, good perspective.
The figures are very well done and the light falling on the side walk is beautiful
thanks Ann, I take your point, I quite like the chiaroscuro effect which is what I wanted to achieve in this one. your comments are always welcome.
Great figure work ! The soft sidewalk and buildings are also well done. I'm not sure about the large dark tree shape on the right. The value contrast and shooting up shapes take attention from the rest of the painting. Think about modifying the shape to make it less intrusive. The little touches of red are also a nice touch. I love your people !
Thank you Candi, Susan and Cristina,
Candi, I've often asked myself this question and it's running about even at the moment. I really can't make up my mind, but I think w/c just sneaks through ............ but then again ........... if u get what I mean. I think it's really about what I'm painting at the time.
Marvelous!! Love it!
Glenys, great one!
Lovely and cheery! Your oils have the same lightness and brightness of your watercolors Glenys! Do you prefer one medium over the other?
