40 x 20 inches water soluble oils.
The oil juices have been flowing this workshop!!! I decided to do a large painting based on my last one of the North Taranaki coast, New Zealand.

Hi Hazel. I now live Te Kuiti but lived in New Plymouth 14yrs & Lepperton ( Inglewood) for 12yrs. So know Taranaki well. Lots of great painting areas. Enjoying Richards workshops, taking me out of my comfort zone. I haven't been painting long so are taking in all I can to help me along my journey of art. I started with watercolour paints, have tried both acrylic and oils.Enjoy both oils and acrylics. Because we have such a beautiful country, the landscape seems to draw me to it and want to paint it. There seems to be so much to learn.Joining this site has helped heaps. Thanks to all who give advice as there are lots more people reading it. cheers Maria
Hi Hazel, Gosh I do love your painting. I know just where this is and you have captured Mt Egmont so well. It's such a lovely area. Lovely, thank you and another lovely day in Taranaki. I have been to the top once.A great experience. I hope your going to put this painting up on your wall. Cheers Maria
Very nice. Did it take long for you to paint that large of a painting?
That white mountain at the back is genius - is it really there?
Fabulous Hazel! Smiles coming your way : ))
