I hadn't thought of that. That was why I was thinking of doing postcards as well - for the ones that wouldn't work as bookmarks. I'll print some landsape ones up to see how they look. Thanks.

Great ideas Jeffery. I have a friend in Canada who does bookmarks also. I was in a gift store one day and noticed the format on some of the bookmarks. Some are portrait and some were landscape. So you can paint the bookmark either way depending on your subject. Did not know if you had thougth of that or not. She was quite excited when I told her. Ro

This leaf is 16cm x 7cm, and yes I do have fun with them. I have another three half finished, a fox, a lizard and another landscape. I'm doing as many as I can between now and November. I'm having a stall at the village I used to work. The leaves don't take all that long to do so they are more affordable than my bigger paintings. I'm also going to make postcards and bookmarks of each leaf to sell as well. I'm hoping to paint at least a dozen by then. I have been photographing each stage of the paintings too, to eventually make into a tutorial or book.

How big is a Gum leaf? I think you are having way to much fun with these! LOL Ro
