I have never been to a European port, so I painted my local Florida. This is 16" x 20", oil on canvas

Nice to see you Elfrida, I love your sky and the boats are a great spotlight, lovely composition with it's triangular direction:-}}

Elfrida welcome back, its nice to see your post. The color is great. I like the purple clouds on the horizon next to the green water. The boats and reflections are beautiful. The red and green are nice concentrated comlpiments. Your figures are great ! The relaxing bikini lady made me smile. I do have a question regarding the placement of the figures. The lady on the left takes us to the bottom left as a strong element in the composition but away from your boat focal. The muscled surfer is another strong element to the right . He is looking out to sea which also takes us out. I find myself looking back and forth between the figures. What was your thinking process when placing the figures ? They are so well painted that I think it would be a shame to get rid of them so just think about that next time.
