So Ive discovered I have problems with seeing values when color is added. These little glasses I ordered were cheap ($8) and they help me to see the different subtle changes. The red just seems to cancel out the other colors. I just thought I would share just in case anyone else might have the same problem I do.

I bought them from 11 main but it seems they are all out of them .This is the description of them.
I just put the description in google and there are other places that sell the. Im not sure if they have UV protection.
Interesting! Do they have UV protection?
I like this idea, its worth a try. I think it takes many hours of painting out to get it right
Oh my goodness. I was just thinking they should make glasses with red lenses. I have the red view finder then I hold up the value chart and make my thumb nail sketch so I get accustom to seeing the values in color. I think it is hard to translate some colors in terms of value. Where did you get the glasses?
