I spent a couple of hours again last evening trying to get the ellipses corrected on this piece. I think this works better but it's still troubles me. So even though I may muck around further I probably won't post my next changes.
I've just finished building my shadowbox and am setting another setup into it today. Its taken about a month to get this worked out as I was unable to get some of the hardware and had to make some adjustments to the design. I'm very happy with it!

Denise, I like your paintings. You are so energetic and persistent to paint so many in such a short time. I admire you, you are a real artist. Never stop to try the new way. I like your grapes especially. I have problems with my grapes. Would you please kindly let me know the procedure how to paint grapes and what colours I should use?
A very nice painting, that you want to look at again and again. Like the lights.
You did a great job connecting the lights to the lights and the darks to the darks.
Thanks everyone for all your positive comments! I love having gotten a critique on this from Richard and it's really helped me see where I can tweak but I may have to start again on a new panel. I'm still struggling with the whites of the jug and the transition from light side to shadow side. Again, I really appreciate the support!
Awesome, love it
I love this painting too!
I really like it too - its very pleasing to look at!
Fabulous job Denise. Really love the grapes and the color/way you painted the pitcher too. The whole thing is really lovely.
Beautiful painting, Denise! I hope one day to be half as good as you are! Bravo! :)
Great job, well done!
