A very nice painting Dirk.  Good unity of colour, atmospheric perspective is just right and your brush work shows real skill, well done, oh yes and your design/composition is working well too.  The sky tone bothers me a bit, I think you could have created more definition of the snow capped mountains with a little daker tone in the sky and a contrasting colour rather than the silver grey.  The only other suggestion is perhaps the river is a little ill-defined, a minor point really, As a whole the painting is working well, you got my vote.

the light in the back middle ground- very nice and I am loving the brush strokes in the trees in the right bottom corner.. well done.
