Rees Valley II

This learning exercise was done using the workshop 3 DVD in order to try and get inside Richards technique. It is of course a copy of Richards painting. I wanted to try and gain a better understanding of opaque media and the whole process. I have learned, among other things how fiddly I am with applying paint. I love the bold painterly feel that Richard gets with applying bold brush strokes, and its amazing how it works. Now I just have to do it on my own.
