Rees Valley practice
Practice mini 2.5 x 4 on gesso covered board. I did several of these small color studies to get a feel for my new oil paints. I liked these ok, but they lacked something for me. I decided to go with a different feel altogether for the final.

Thanks guys! :) Hi Natasha, I'm using water mixable oils. My first time for oils. Before this I was using acrylics and enjoyed them. And, before that watercolors, which I also loved. I don't know why I put off getting oils, but I'm glad I finally gave in!
