You did it very well Li. Painting flowers is one of the trickiest job. And a big challenge. So be happy about how you did it.
When I was in the supermarket,one day, I found the girl selling flowers was going to throw this lily into the garbage bin. She said that it was too old and nobody would buy it. I convienced her to give it to me. Back home I started to paint it. It was deformed the next day.
I kept on painting it by the photos I took. I am not good at painting flowers. I watched Richard's teaching video, got the principle and then when free to paint in my way. It was so tender even it was so old. I did not know how to use impressive brushstroke to describe this old lily. So , I just paint what it looks like to me.
I am happy about what I did by keeping the last golden smile of this worn out old lily and share it with you.
