Thanks you, Anna. This is an acrylic. I started with a textured canvas. Then began experimented with painting at the top and spraying water to make the paint run. At the base of the trees you will notice how the runs caught in the texture lines. I added the water line and the purple at the base (the tree reflactions). In black I carved out the limbs and over painted the tree tops and reflactions with Golden Iridescent & Interference. Check them out on line. They have great products. Love to see it you try something.

Nice painting. I like the soft colors, the light and above all the atmosphere. What are the technique used and the
dimensions of the painting?
