OK, Christine - bon courage and keep in the paint then!

Thank you Jon. I really like the idea of painting with thicker paint. At this time in my progress, I am finding that I have so many things to learn that I haven't been able to work on that one yet. But like in our conversation about the Gesso board, I think that makes it easier to leave brush strokes visible.

When I photograph these small pictures, they really show up the canvas a lot. It's not that noticeable until I enlarge it. Painting and making progress ( = I do love all the suggestions and comments though!

I like these two paintings (this and prev one) Christine -the only comments I can think of are that the prev one is maybe a little dark and that, on this one, thicker paint (if that's in your approach/style) would give a painterly/tactile quality to enhance it (I don't seem to be able to do it - probably cos my paintings are quite big :(    ) grey, yellow and green - nice harmony!
