Ribbons and Roses
14" x 11" Oils on Fredrix Ultrasmooth stretched canvas. After a disastrous effort at last month's workshop I gave myself a challenge to do better! Thanks to Marcia Hodges for giving me inspiration from her beautiful painting.

Jessica and Cristina - thank you for your lovely comments. I was pleasantly pleased with this painting but decided to "get out of my comfort zone" and add to the background!!! Being a very cautious artist I wanted to see what would happen if I "loosened up"! You will see the result from the revised painting I've posted. I'm still not sure which one I prefer but would love my artist friends on this site to give their comments as to their preference.
