Graphite - 8"x10", An exercise from the book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. The paper is toned with graphite, then after the drawing the highlights are lifted with a kneeded erasure. I was able to adjust the drawing after the thumb was drawn by erasing, re-toning the paper and re-drawing the thumb.

Thank you Elizabeth, I did so much work out of the book's exercises, then did the turkey and elk. I wish I could work into my schedule to draw a little every day. Oh well. I am a one focus person, but what ever I am into I do it a 110%. You can ask my husband about that! LOL Ro
