And, sorry folks, it's now "Sold." (To me!)
Pandalana - Thanks for stopping by and dropping a great comment (on my Cronenberg Portrait). Wow! says a lot to me. :-) I was also wow-ing at your latest strawberries. Your daily paintings have just leaped ahead!
I thought I'd drop this comment here as well, in case you don't see it on my page. I have to tell you I really like where you are going with this small painting challenge.
Thank yoooouuuu!!! Jim I sent you message. Yes, it is for sale, I sell most of my Daily Paintings on dailypaintworks.com
I don't have any criticism for this. I'm not a huge fan of still-life's in general nor do I usually like paintings that look so real, BUT this is an exception for me. I really want to eat that strawberry. I think the composition is awesome, and I am mesmerized by the whole thing--bullet holes and all. ; )
Lovely work Pandalana!
NO! Don't change it, at all! I'll buy it from you. Seriously, would you be interested in selling it?
Thank you!!! I will work on it a little more :D
Holy cow, this is GREAT! I actually like the strainer holes, but in the set-up, it might have been less obvious to have them rotated toward the back. But, they look realistic -- as Stu commented that they look like bullet holes.
Great job Pandalana, so real..
Pandalana, you know how much I like this and so glad you reworked into this one and added to strawberries. The small bits of highlights you placed on holes have made a big difference, although still a little dark on left side. Stu said below re muting the black holes - perhaps just add those touches of soft highlight at the left edges of them, plus softening the left edges of bowl going out the left side. Looks lot different and strawberries very luscious.
