Love the light on the beach and reflections in the water.  One thing, I dont see the sand through the water.  Looks like it drops off.  Sorry!  Wish I could paint reflections like that!  And shadows.

Thanks for the feedback Susan & Xiao. I see what you mean about the sand bar. It's funny how you don't pick up on some elements whilst your painting or until you are shown, then they really stand out. Probably highlighted by the red jumper.

I like the way you use your greens.  The different levels of green are very convincing.  Great work.

Beautiful colours - very convincing tones in the foliage and the water.  I like how you make the further hillside lighter and cooler.  The colour of the water and the reflections is really good.  The only thing that troubles my eye a bit is the shape of the middle sand-bar - seems as though it should be a bit more pointy, maybe.  Love the figure with the red jumper.  Great work.
