I appreciate all the "likes" I got! Wow... my painting is more whimsical/realistic I think, next time I will try to be more realistic in the colors, well, we'll see what happens. My favorite rock is Jess's.
Good painting Sharon! smiles coming your way : ))
Thanks, Christine, really appreciate that you like it. The bridge is not overpowering but adds to the placement of the rock. I added color layers over layers to get the right effect in the sky and had soooo much fun painting the ocean waters! I wouldn't change a thing about it. I am going to check everyone's again, too.
Looking at this again...I really love everything about it. It just all works nicely together.
Linda, I had so much fun and it came together well, I think. I'm going to do more with a knife!
Looks like you had fun. Great knife work!
love the whole key the painting is in..well done
Thank you guys, so much! I really had a blast painting this with a pallete knife!
I am amazed by the colors and brush work in the painting.
Nice job, good texture on the rock and energy in the water. It is able to balance the bridge and make it aa supporting player when it always wants to be the star.
