Hi Jim

Congratulations on creating a painting so good that Richard critiqued it.  That is an honor you deserve.  Have been out of town for Thanksgiving and so am just now getting to let you know  I know!  Smiles to you Jim and Happy Painting........: ))

I like the foremat you used. THe longer frame allows more sky which balances the painting!

Beautiful painting. I agree with Sharon, the foam on top of the waves could be a bit thicker.  I enjoy those watery beach very much too. Very well done.

Beautiful painting!  I would add a bit more splash up in the air!

Very nice sky and beach nd glow to the waves...just all around pleasing. The only thing i would change is diversity of spacing and number of objects in foreground....everything is in two and they share the same space between them...

The contrast of blue against the sunset is great!

Beautifully done!  The beach is especially convincing with the sheen & shadows on the wet sand.
