Used the palette Richard demonstrated in the video. This was a fun painting to do - it looked daunting, but following the video made it do-able! Hope I never see a wave like that at the beach in real life though!!

Thanks Cristina - this was a tricky one!
You did great!
Thank you Julia!
Thanks very much, Sharon, Ningning & Nancy for your lovely comments - I appreciate you taking the time! In fact, the blue is more a shade of purple than it shows in this photo, but I couldn't get the camera to pick it up. Ningning & Nancy - yes, that wave does look quite scary!! As for the birds, actually I did try to paint them but couldn't get them right, so that's why they're not there - I need more practise to make seagulls look like seagulls! But I agree with you Ningning, any sensible seagulls would have taken off long ago! :=)
Very well done, Jessica. Those colour combination, the details of the water movement , the light effect are all very nicely painted. I went through the same what you mentioned. Interesting isn't it. I did paint those two lovely sea birds either. Like you, I was scared by the waves I painted so I thought those birds were more timid and would be frightened and fly away. Jessica, your comment under the painting make me laughing as I feel exactly the same as what you said.
very nicely painted. I love the blue/yellow.
Thank you Carolyn for your encouragement!
Lovely, Jessica and well done!
