Hi Peter, it is the emotions provoked by the atmosphere that emanate of things, persons, words, situations,… that inspire me… I love the colour and beauty of autumn leaves that reflect the last rays of sun with a silvery sheen. Even wilted the leaves dazzle with their new colors and it is magical and alive ... That's the beauty of this particular moment that attracts and fascinates me... Happy New Year! Anna

Anna, what a nice painting, such feeling in this is remarkable.  I feel that although the leaves are withering, and it's sad, there is comfort that there are two together, like they are not alone (if that makes any sense.)  But it was a feeling that just happened when I looked at it.    The shadow and light are very nice here too.
