SF Painted Ladies (MM)

These homes are beautiful examples of Italianate Victorians that date back to the late 19th century.
In years past my wife and I would participate (walk) the "Bay-to-Breakers" race across San Francisco. We would avoid the crush at the Start by starting our walk at Powell Street, get to the top of the Hayes Street Hill and wait for the Kenyans to run by. At the top of the hill you can see these homes.
This painting is mixed media in that I used acrylic, watercolor and ink.
