PS................the first thing that caught my attention was the sea so I never even looked at the sky. Now I see the sky needs some improvements and I know you can do it! I will be watching.............dor:))

I love this painting! You are a natural born artist. Wonderful ocean scene, I am very impressed...........dor:))
Thanks Roena for your comments, I agree with your observations and currently have the painting where I can see it so that I become more aware of its short-comings and what I need to do to fix it up!
I started painting in Feb 2009 and still have a long way to go with the process, although I feel I have made signifigant progress in the last couple of months. The other problem I have is not being very good at photographing the paintings for uploading - they actually look better in real life than on-line but still you are right with your comments.
I tend to get to a certain stage and then leave things for awhile, I don't know if this just me or do other people do the same sort of thing?
Thanks Anna, I hear what you are saying.
It disturbed me too before I put up the photo but I thought ...what the heck, there are a couple of other small things that I am still not happy with but when I sort those out, I'll put a new photo.
