I think a more apt description than fluidity is translucency; i.e., capturing the atmospheric light and background colors coming thru and reflecting in the water and spray.

Laura, you have captured the vastness of the cliffs and the ocean and the pensive nature of the moment.  The water and spray in this and the next painting convey moment but don't convey fluidity.  Could be the edges are too hard where the water meets the beach or spray the cliff or value/color transitions.  Might look at some masters' paintings to compare how they handled the water and the spray.
