You are so generous with your comments Candi! Unfortunately I don't get as much time to paint as I would like and am getting a bit slow in my old age! But I do think that to develop you just have to keep on observing and keeping on painting.. I find this community is great for those things.

Thank you Hazel. I may have met your family. My husband and I set up an outdoor lodge on the Rangitikei over 30 years ago. Our daughter and son in law now own and run it but we are fortunate to still be able to live there as do some of our grandchildren and great grand children.

Drop my mouth wide open!  This is my fav so far.  What a painting.  Love it............all of it.  It just does not get any better than this.  Love the colors in the river.
