Thank you Luba. I took quite a lot of photos of pelicans to try to get something half decent. You need a fast shutter speed and a steady hand while you pan with the action. And good timing. And good luck.

For reference work, I have tried, with my camera , to capture a Pelican coming in for a landing, and have had no luck....it is always blurred ! This is quite beautiful.......

Thanks Ruby and Diane. I've done another one of a pelican just about to land, with his feet skimming the water, but I think this one is my favourite of the two.
