Here the skunk cabbage is at it's peaked. It may have been a better piece with 3 cabbages.

Thanks Kathy, I agree I'm planning to enlarge this one. I found it hard en plein air to keep colors vibrant but I think I caught it well on this, now to balance it well also.

Love this painting. I've always liked skunk cabbage, remember a lot of it from childhood. Yep, maybe one more cabbage in the front left to lead the eye in and around. This painting has such wonderful movement and colors. It's very vibrant. I adore it.
