Louise, that is a cool picture to post and a scene to paint. I am still very much learning plein air myself and can appreciate the challenges for sure. Thanks for posting that!
Thanks Kevin. I probably painted on site for 3 hours then tinkered at home with it for another 3. I still have so much to learn and one of those things is to learn when to stop, lol. Here's a pic from that morning that you may be interested in seeing. We have some of the fastest tides in the world here so the water comes in and out of this cove crazy fast so that might be why the fissure is so pronounced - ?
Louise, nice plein air effort. It looks like you put some time into this.That fissure has my curiosity up as it looks significant in size with the scale of the trees.
