I do make cards of my paintings and I've sold many of this one - especially at Christmas time :)

The chickadee was in oils, and like I said I believe it was the first birch trees I had painted. I think I had improved a bit by the time I got to this painting - LOL! Thanks for all your comments on my paintings and I really appreciate the feedback. Glad you liked the duck so much! - Cathy

Kathy, This is pretty. I like the smaller limbs on the trees better too. The difference is that these are more flowing, longer, more graceful....... This is acrylic, so maybe you were able to thin the paint down for the flowing effect. I dont remember if the chickadee painting was in oils or not. The trees that I have painted that I considered successful were in WC and the paint just flowed off the brush. I have looked at all you new post, and found them to show a very talented artist with many skills to portray lots of variety. Good job! Ro

it's a symmetrical picture...it's very nice :) i like two white trees!
