Oils, 24x36 inches, (Great Blue Heron White Morph) Painted while at my brother's house. The place where it was to hang was so dark we kept haning it up during the painting process to see how it would look in such dim light.

How fun. You would have to know my sister-in-law the "home decorating queen". If she can not find exactly what she wants she does without for ever/years/years! She is "decorating" in neutrals. Her house is filled with my paintings that I have done over the years! Did you catch the part that I painted this "at her house"? We would go hang it up in the place where it was to hang to see how it would "read" once we got it to the very dark spot. Why dont you just take the idea and do one for your spot? You could do a beautiful one I am sure. Ro (((She spent hours looking at color swatches "in the spot where the painting would hang" and finally gave me the colors she said I could use. It worked out just fine doing it that way.)))

This would look lovely in my living room for the background is the color of my antique couch. So.....is your brother ever tires of it, you know where you can send it!!!!!

Hi Ro....It looks like you have posted some more paintings. This one is very nice. Is it one of your older paintings or did you paint it recently?
