Although I missed all the earlier challenges, I was drawn to do some still life by the results I saw. And when I bought this kale and peppers, they called out to be painted. After living on the west coast, it is so great to be painting with lots of real local color.

Thanks Diane, Does this mean I take color from say, the orange pepper and add a little to the color of its shadow?

Love your colours and all about it. Just a carry through from our still life workshops. We were encouraged by Richard to add a little reflected colour from our veg into the cast shadow. I think it would really look good here and ground  your veg even more to them sitting on the table. Love the composition So real :)
