Love that you were challenged to paint this beautiful piece of carnival glass. This painting sings with color balanced perfectly. Your color scheme is brilliant and the orange reads real and juicy. My very small suggestion would be to have more of a cast shadow on the lime it looks to be floating slightly but even there I hesitate to say anything about this piece, it's simply is awesome!

Thanks all of you for your kind words.  I was going to use a clear glass, but then someone commented there was no way I could paint the carnival glass…and well, you know then I just had to.    I’ve learned a good deal from the lessons…less chroma…keeping some brush marks…hard and soft edges....etc.  Slowly, but surely!  :-)
