thanks Cristina and Ann. appreciate your thoughts Ann and yes, I could maybe break the hill up with a short path and get a big brush to cover larger parts so it would connect it better.

Great feeling of warm summer light ! I like the way you have handled the grasses in the foreground and the pier taking us left to right to the hill. The cool and warm blues of the sky and water is also very well done with the lighthouse echoing the color. I feel that the hill would benefit from larger connected shapes, the hill is detailed with many small shapes that are hard to read. Connecting values and having less small white shapes would bring it all together. Just a little food for thought.
