Thank you Susan for mentioning the little patch of green.
I wondered if there should have been a little more light coming from above the foreground rock. Maybe a little sun ray, but I wasn't sure if it would take away from the main focus of the spot light on the background rock. It is hard to paint something that I have never been there in person to see the beauty of a place. I think Richard mentioned that he can see more than what was in his photos.
Sharon, the whole painting is lovely...especially the front cliff with that little patch of light green grass...it's strikingly beautiful!
I appreciate everyone's comments, and I think I sent a thank you to all of you. If I missed you, thank you for making me feel welcome and your encouragement.
Silvana, Thank you for your kind comment. It is an honor to be among so many talented artists.
I still can't figure out how to use the Gamut Mask tool.
Super!!!
Beautiful!!
Great job on this Sharon!
Great job in capturing the light and sunlit gold. I like your shadows too. I had to do my foreground over and over to get it so I even liked it. Not easy. I would have liked to see a little more sharp edge along the cliff against the ocean.
Very nice Sharon!
