My favorite part about this piece is the fiery color of the clouds, and the shape of the large one near the son.  A daily pastime of mine is looking for what images are hidden in the clouds.  My oone suggestion for improvement is perhaps a little more subtle value and/or color variation in the large sections of orange, a little more color being cast out across the land.

Jan, I enjoy your colour combination and the soft way when you transfer from one colour to another, very natural. And the shape of the clouds are good looking, Good job.
