4x12 inches on 3/4 inch canvas. Oil

Learning points:
1. Trying to find that "glow" that these have. I am always in awe when I see some of the daily painters paint citrus fruit that glows from within...I used a little light blue for the highlights and I used analogous colors in the slices. I think I am getting it, but more practice, practice, practice
2. Still trying to find those soft and hard edges
3. Flooding color around the main interest
4. Paper! I hope this one looks more like paper and less like aluminum foil
4. Painted again with #10 round watercolor brush, plus one more: a #8 round watercolor brush...so still larger.

I was wondering the same thing about the glow and how they paint that..
