Thanks for the critique Deb. I see what you mean. I felt i really rushed through the foreground area & still need to learn to slow down to make better decisions.

This is so nice. I have been enjoying your paintings. I hate to make any critisism but If I may, one thing took my eye away from the rest of your painting. Maybe this is just me? The two red dots at the bottom are equal in size and proximity. Maybe just add another to the right of the one on the right side and change the shape??? Or maybe just tone them down. Red is a very strong and powerful color. When I am doing a painting, I found that I can see the problems better after I photograph the painting and put it on my computer screen. :)

Hi Ian this is only my second attempt, in the safety of my backyard mind you. Spurred on from Richards Old Mill painting adventures, I recommend giving it a shot.
