Thank you, Cristina.  Silvana, you got the point. I will never use a reference photo  like the one for this dog. Horrible. I could not see what he really looks like just guess.  No colour , no structure on one side of his face. I changed his nose. But I realised that this nose is better than the new one. I have to give up. That was all I can do. 

Please learn the lesson from my suffering. if you have to paint from a photo , think very well before you start. Maybe only I do such silly thing. Lol.

Besy, thanks. You and my husband share the same view about"saintly".  It is good to know that diagonals to counteract horizontals and verticals is important for a good painting. Thank you again, Besy. This is my first dog painting. I need paint a lot of dogs in order to be good enough to grab people's money. I love your idea.

I really like the green light behind his head, and I am fond of diagonals to counteract horizontals and verticals. That light makes him look saintly. ;-)
